days catching marlin for young and old alike. Many of the Captains specialize in

Merritt, known for her ability to raise large fish. Captain Steve Epstein is
world traveled, with stops in Australia, Tahiti, Madeira, & Mexico, and has over
30 years in Kona waters. Her tackle includes all Shimano Tiagra reels, 50, 80,
& 130 lb class and is tournament ready. Novice and experienced anglers enjoy
her giant teak cockpit and air conditioned interior. |

is a Tournament Equipped Classic 36 foot Hatteras, Fast and
comfortable. Equipped with live bait wells. We fish with live bait,
dead bait, strip bait and lures. Whatever will work in a given
situation on a given day.
Hosting up to six anglers,
Chiripa is the Queen of the
fleet. Set up in the classic convertible style, that means plenty of comfortable
seating in the shade but not out of the action. |

Sea Wife

Sea Wife Charters
has been operating out of Honokohau Harbor in Kailua Kona, Hawaii
since October 1982. It is the only "exclusive" multi-passenger
sport fishing charter boat doing business in Kona today.
The maximum capacity of
the boat is 18 passengers (in our experiences most trips have 8
anglers and 1-2 ride-a-long passengers). |
