We provide excellent customer service in a safe, fun-filled environment. Join Captain Wayne Knight for a day of fishing adventure aboard the 38' Buddy Davis fishing machine "The Playtime", Kona's premier fishing vessel.

We specialize in Kona Hawaii charter fishing, targeting Marlin , Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo (Ono), Mahi Mahi and everything else that swims in these waters and all at affordable Kona charter fishing prices.

Let's go fishing on the Kona Coast – up to six people on the boat. Our boat holds the World Record for the largest fish Ever caught in a tournament: 1254 lb Blue Marlin.

We fish for Blue Marlin, Striped Marlin, Spearfish, Ahi (yellowfin Tuna), Ono (Wahoo), Mahi Mahi (Dorado or Dolphin fish.) We employ various methods to obtain our catch, including:

Trolling
Live bait
Bottom fishing
Light tackle
Jigging
Dead bait

All fishing gear, bait and tackle is provided.

Capt. Wayne has been fishing in Hawaiian waters since 1988. He developed a passion for it and decided to dedicate his life to charter fishing trips, sharing the experience with other anglers and with children.

Fishing in Kona starts 2 minutes outside the harbor so there's lots of fishing time. You keep your catch – on our boat the fish belong to the angler. We will clean it for you and help with shipping or recipe for BBQ at your home. For fish mounting – ask for pricing and shipping.

Please bring what you need for snacks, food and beverages. We have a cooler with ice on board.
